Bella Terra Wedding Venue

It was a gloomy day for Jessi and Jonathan’s fall wedding at Bella Terra Wedding Venue in Hunker, PA. The pops of fall colors really gave a more vibrant feel for their day since the sky was gray.

Although the weather wasn’t cooperating, Jessi and Jonathan had a relaxing, beautiful wedding surrounded by family and friends. They are a great couple who are laid back and always up for a good time. They met at a club in 2002, and after 18 years, they decided to tie the knot.

Bella Terra Vineyards was the location for Jessi and Johathan’s big day. Their wedding ceremony and reception were held at the popular wedding venue in Pensilvania. The rustic venue can accommodate up to 300 people in the main building on the property. Outside, you can hold the ceremony as well. The backdrop of the vineyards, countryside scenery, lake, and 100-year-old trees offer many perfect places for your gorgeous wedding photos. The Bella Terra Vineyards provides many services to assist you with your big day. A professional team will handle the coordination so that all you have to do is enjoy your special day.

Jessi and her bridesmaids got ready together with lots of fun and laughter while wearing adorable flannel nightshirts and slippers and sipping on some pre-wedding drinks. They all looked cute and made for some delightful girly pics. Before wearing her own dress, Jessi modeled in her mom’s wedding dress for a quick photo shoot. Even though the dress had some age to it, she looked great in it and even shared that she’d worn it the year before to a Halloween party. She wore a Jenny Yoo gown that perfectly fit her and matched her boho, earthy personality. Jessi’s father passed away the winter before their wedding day, so she wore a bracelet with her dad’s thumbprint and had his picture on her bouquet.

Jessi and Jonathan wanted their bridal party to be comfortable. She chose to have her bridesmaids wear jewel-toned colored dresses to match the time of year. Jonathan and his groomsmen wore blue suits.

Their dream was to marry under the big old trees by the pond; however, they had to make a last-minute change because of the weather. Fortunately, it all worked out ok, and they happily said “I Do” with their guests surrounding them. The couple’s nephew walked their beloved dog Buxley down the aisle, and Jessi’s brother walked her down the aisle. Her grandma read a passage during the ceremony while her dad’s brother was their officiant.

After they shared their vows and photos were gotten, the party got underway! Throughout the reception space, Jessi and Jonathan put a lot of effort into the details. Each table had handmade numbers made by Jessi and a picture of her and Jonathan at that age. Those made for an incredible way to number the tables and show how precious they looked as they grew up. Jessi’s brother played the guitar and sang for their first dance. Afterward, several loved ones gave speeches, Jessi and Jonathan cut their cake, and they danced the night away with their family and friends.

I had the honor of capturing the wedding of Jessi’s friends back in 2018, so I was thrilled when she recommended me as a great photographer to work with. Weddings are one of the biggest days of a couple’s lives, so I love getting feedback from brides about their wedding experience. It was great seeing familiar faces from their wedding in 2018.
