WVU Graduate photos are a wonderful way to remember a milestone. When Alex graduated from West Virginia University Law School, she wasn’t thrilled about taking photos at first. She decided to do it for her mom, and we rescheduled a few times because of the weather.
We’re glad we went ahead with the session because we had a perfect warm summer evening. The golden hour light was beautiful for portraits. Alex will work with her uncle at a law firm in Beckley, practicing criminal law. Her graduation is a proud moment for her family.
We took her photos at the Erickson Alumni Center and at the WVU Law School.
The law school was recently updated and now has a big staircase and large letters on the front of the building.
Both places looked impressive and were a great fit for Alex’s photos.

Whether you’re graduating from high school or college, I highly recommend a senior portrait session.
This is a huge accomplishment; capturing photos during this time will give you something you’ll always cherish.
I also grab a few photos during your session without your cap and gown for future use.
Now that you’ve graduated, you’ll possibly need head-shots for your resume or CV.
It’s important to me that your photo session is celebratory and fun. I was excited about the champagne spray. This is my favorite; I highly recommend including it in your shoot. It’s the epitome of celebration, and the spray really stands out in golden-hour light.
