Wedding photography isn’t just about how your day looks — it’s about how it feels.
The nervous excitement in the morning. The deep breath before you walk down the aisle. The way your friends lose their minds on the dance floor. The quiet, in-between moments you didn’t even realize were happening until you see them later.
My approach to any wedding photos lives right at the intersection of timeless tradition and joyful celebration. I believe you deserve photos that feel classic and fun, polished and real. Photos that hold meaning today and still make sense decades from now.
If you’re curious about how I photograph weddings, what I prioritize, and what working together actually feels like, this is for you.

- I prioritize a seamless, stress-free wedding day and guide you every step of the way
Let’s Be Real…I Love a Good Dance Floor
Let’s get this out of the way first:
I am a dance floor photographer at heart.
There is something unmatched about the energy of a packed dance floor — ties loosened, shoes kicked off, hands in the air, music loud enough that no one cares who’s watching. It’s where personalities come out, where generations mix, where the celebration really lands.
I don’t just show up for the first dance and call it a night. I stay alert and ready for the moments that unfold naturally like your maid of honor screaming the lyrics to a throwback song, grandparents swaying together in the corner to a slow song, or all of your friends forming a spontaneous circle that turns into chaos in the best way
Those moments are fleeting, and they’re easy to miss if you’re not paying attention. I’m always watching the room, anticipating reactions, and positioning myself so I can capture the energy without interrupting it.
When you look back at your wedding photos, I want you to feel the music again not just see it.

Traditional Posing Still Matters (And I’m Really Good at It)
While I love movement and spontaneity, I’m also a huge believer in strong, traditional posing.
Here’s why: those are the images that live on your walls, in albums, and in frames your family passes down. They deserve intention.
I guide my couples through portraits in a way that feels natural and efficient not stiff or overly posed. You’ll never be left wondering what to do with your hands or how to stand. My goal during portraits is simple: I direct with confidence, adjust if needed, and refine while still allowing room for genuine connection.
The result is imagery that feels elevated and timeless, without losing warmth or authenticity. This balance between structure and ease is a big part of what defines my style.

Color Is Not a Trend, It’s a Choice
One thing couples often tell me is how much they love the color in my work.
I photograph weddings in a way that honors the actual colors of your day: the florals you carefully chose, the tones of your venue, the warmth of candlelight, the boldness of a packed dance floor. My images are not muted, washed out, or desaturated.
That’s intentional.
Color brings life to your photos. It reflects emotion. It preserves atmosphere. And years from now, it will remind you what your wedding truly looked and felt like not just what was trendy at the time.
I aim for images that are vibrant, true-to-life, and timeless all at once. Clean editing, rich tones, and consistency across your gallery so your story feels cohesive from start to finish.

Anticipating Moments Is Half the Job
Some of the most meaningful wedding photos aren’t planned at all. They happen because someone is paying attention.
Throughout the day, I’m constantly scanning for moments before they unfold: a parents tearing up before the ceremony begins, a squeeze of the hand during vows, or a glance exchanged across the room during speeches.
Anticipation allows me to be in the right place at the right time without staging or interrupting what’s happening. It’s how those quiet, emotional images come together naturally.
You don’t need to perform for the camera. You don’t need to worry about missing something important. That’s my job.

A Seamless Day Matters More Than a Perfect Timeline
Your wedding day should feel smooth, not rushed. Joyful, not stressful.
I work closely with my couples (and often their planners) to make sure photography flows naturally within the day not the other way around. That means:
- Helping build realistic timelines
- Offering guidance on lighting and pacing
- Knowing when to step in and when to step back
I care deeply about how your day feels while it’s happening, not just how it photographs afterward. When the day runs smoothly, everyone relaxes — and the photos reflect that.
A calm, supported couple photographs beautifully. Every single time.

I’m Rooting for You From Start to Finish
This might be the most important part of my approach.
I am genuinely rooting for my couples.
I care about your experience, your story, and the people you’ve chosen to stand beside you. Ultimately, I want you to feel celebrated, supported, and fully present on your wedding day.
From the first conversation to the final gallery delivery, my goal is for you to feel like you’re in good hands because you are.
Your wedding isn’t just another event to me. It’s personal. It’s meaningful. And it deserves to be documented with intention, heart, and joy.

At the End of the Day…
My approach to wedding photography is about balance from timeless portraits and real moments to wild energy on the floor.
If you want photos that feel alive and photos that let you relive your wedding day exactly as it felt, I’d love to tell your story.
Because where pretty meets the party… that’s where I do my best work.
