Katie and Kyle’s Pennsylvania engagement photos at Duck Hollow Golf Club were taken on a beautiful day.
They met in high school at MHS, and the rest is history. Katie went to nursing school at West Virginia University, and Kyle was a long snapper for the West Virginia football team and attended the sports management program. Katie is a nurse practitioner with WVU Medicine, and Kyle works for WVU Athletics.
The outfits for their engagement session at Duck Hollow Golf Club were perfect. Katie wore a long flowy flower patterned dress, and Kyle wore khakis and a white shirt. You can’t go wrong with either of their outfit styles. Katie wearing a comfortable maxi dress, allowed movement and flow without restriction during their session. Wearing this kind of dress is always recommended because it enables your fiance to lift and twirl you, which adds movement to your images.
Engagement Photos in Pennsylvania
This location for their Pennsylvania engagement photos was so pretty, and it’s actually a wedding venue. The Uniontown, PA, golf course grounds are stunning! The weeping willow tree we photographed around was to die for! It gave us the shade for pictures, but the golden-hour lighting was magnificent. This location is a SWEET SPOT for natural light photographers. Although the short time frame for capturing golden-hour photos can be tricky, they are my favorite. I love how the sun is raised just above the horizon and the glow it casts on the natural elements. Moving around the golf course to different locations allowed me to pose Katie and Kyle in places that added depth to their images.
A dear nurse/photographer friend of mine referred Katie and Kyle to me, as she was already booked, so I was thrilled to capture this adorable couple’s Pennsylvania engagement photos at Duck Hollow Golf Club.
