Love knows no boundaries, and for Hannah and Logan, their special day was an enchanting testament to that belief. Set against the backdrop of the picturesque West Virginia countryside, their wedding unfolded in the embrace of a private residence, where privacy and the freedom to celebrate to their heart’s content were important. Read below for a  continuation of their private residence wedding in West Virginia.

Hannah and Logan’s love story started in college at WVU, where they were both in the marching band, The Pride of West Virginia, where he played trombone, and she played clarinet. Living in a small house, Hannah knew where Logan hid her engagement ring, so she’d try it on without him knowing. Once he caught on, he’d move the ring, making it similar to Elf on the Shelf.

Their ceremony and reception were at Logan’s parents’ private residence. In Martinsburg, WV, it’s now called the Rush-Miller House, which was built in 1810. The choice of a private home wedding allowed Hannah and Logan to create an intimate atmosphere that perfectly aligned with their vision. Their ceremony was tucked away with stunning country landscapes under an old tree by the spring house on the property. I love the story of this house. It’s an incredible piece of history, making for a gorgeous backdrop.

The trend of having a first reveal or first look with your bridesmaids or groomsmen is becoming quite popular. Breaking free from the conventional norm of solely sharing this cherished moment with her groom, Hannah chose to do a first look with their groomsmen/groomslady. As she turned to face each beloved person, they gasped and clapped with joy. Standing there with anticipation in his eyes, Logan took in the sight of his soon-to-be wife, his heart overflowing with love. Time seemed to stand still as they locked eyes, their souls intertwining in a beautiful moment of shared intimacy, realizing that this was the beginning of forever.

Colorful Florals That Were Incredible

Little did I know when I arrived that I was about to witness a floral extravaganza crafted by none other than Logan’s talented sister, Kinsey. I was utterly captivated when I laid eyes on Hannah’s bouquet. The petals on her bouquet are meticulously selected, resulting in a stunning design. The ceremony unfolded beneath a majestic tree adorned with delicate blooms. Kinsey had gone above and beyond, dedicating her time and passion to growing every floral arrangement for the reception. The result was nothing short of breathtaking. A botanical wonderland was created in the reception tent, with vibrant blooms that created an ambiance of pure magic.

Hannah and Logan’s band friends showed up, with the trombone section bringing their instruments and playing “Roll Out the Barrell,” which Logan conducted. Hannah is a Pre-K teacher with Greenbrier County Schools, and her students painted a few canvas prints that they hung for guests to view and admire. Once the formalities of the reception were complete, Hannah did an outfit change because her dress was so heavy. She changed into an adorable feminine dress featuring multiple layers of soft tulle material that flowed easily with every move. For her and Logan, her changing made for a fun re-entrance.

Everything about this day just fit and flowed perfectly! The timeline incorporated golden hour photos and was definitely a highlight of their memorable day.

Hannah posted this kind testimonial on a Morgantown wedding Facebook page: ” I knew I liked her from our engagement session when she was literally in a creek in tennis shoes and saying, “Girl, I don’t care about the shoes.” Carrie and Jenn were amazing. They ran around like crazy to get the perfect shot and making me and the bridal party laugh while doing it.”
