Emily and Anthony’s May wedding at The White Barn at Lucas Farm was a blast! Although it was in May, it was chilly and drizzling, their elegant country wedding was filled with love and laughter!
Emily is a Nurse Practitioner at Mon Health, and Anthony is a videographer and owner of Sparks Media Agency. It was such an HONOR to shoot their wedding! With Anthony being a fantastic videographer and him working with so many other photographers, it blew me away that they chose me as their photographer!ย

Spring Wedding in Oakland MD
Knowing this terrific couple, I expected nothing but comedic relief moments. During the ceremony, they did rock, paper, scissors to see who would read their vows first. Anthony’s personality is larger than life and has energy no one can match. However, he also has a soft side to him that he made a wooden box out of wood from their backyard for their first daughter that Emily keeps trinkets and keepsakes.
A white arbor with stunning florals, a chandelier, and a pond in the background made for an absolutely gorgeous ceremony, more importantly, their ceremony was filled with a lot of love, tears of happiness, and of course, some laughter.
After capturing formal pictures, the celebration moved inside The White Barn at Lucas Farm, and everyone had a great time. Emily wore a face shield during the cake-cutting because you never know what silly thing Anthony might do. Afterwards, they did a Polka Dance to add a bit more fun to the reception.
Emily and Anthony, this was such a fun celebration for you and your guests, and I loved capturing your wedding day! Check out some of my favorites from The White Barn Oakland, MD!
